Cornell educated, spotlessly clean facility, prices that are reasonable and most importantly Dr. Smith impresses me as a man "in it" for the animals. I miss Dr Hanson....I think I have found his equal.

Dr. James Smith, his wife Cheryl, Missy, & Erin and all other staff deserve MORE than a 5 star rating. This is the most caring, yet professional veterinary's office I have ever done with business with. I have been a client now for 5 years and we have certainly been through so much together with my 3 dogs. I have called several times for emergency services and they have always been there for me immediately. I have been hugged during the trying times, received follow up phone calls to just ask how the babies are doing etc.... had long talks about situations with the animals. There is no other vet I would ever want to use. I have never felt more comfortable and my animals more loved in a time of need or everyday care. I just want to say thank you to all of them and they are appreciated and again I highly recommend them for any service you may ever need for any pet. Thank you, Junell Gray of Amsterdam, N.Y.

I recently moved to the area, and after a bad experience at a closer vet while vet shopping, we tried Galway when one of our cats got sick. It's so worth the little extra drive! The office folks are sweet and helpful, the waiting and exam rooms are spotless. The doc and staff are obviously extremely knowledgable and want to help you in any way they can. They were kind to my cat, who was seriously ill and had to be hospitalized for a week and a half. In fact, they all fell in love with him, so I know he got as much, or maybe even more, attention and love as he gets here at home. Their fees seem fair and reasonable. But even if there _were_ a little high, I would still take my pets to these folks because their care and dedication would be well worth it. A million thumbs up for Galway Veterinary Hospital!!

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They are will to as we're any questions you may have. Their services are extremely simple and efficient. We have visited them for standard checkups and emergencies and every time they are easy to schedule and echo visit has only lasted about 30min with no wait time.

Great medical care for my pets. Caring staff and vet.

Dr. Smith is amazing. An incident between our do and a porcupine brought up a need for an emergency visit and a lot of questions. He was extremely accommodating and helpful.
